Story Time

"So why are you traveling?" Setila asked Adoni as they sat down to dinner. "Hmm? What did you say?" he asked pulling his eyes away from Eva. "Why are you traveling through here?" Setila repeated. "Oh, um,  well, I'm actually searching for a wife." he said with a slight blush, "And I was wondering," he said, turning to Eva, "I you would come with me to my castle and become my wife." Eva turned to look at Setila hopefully. "Its alright with me" Setila said as she sat back in her chair and smiled. "Yes!" Eva yelled with glee as she threw herself into Adoni's arms.
The next morning preparations were made for their journey back. "Okay, so do you have everything? food,water pouch, blankets?" Setila asked, rushing about the house looking for something they might have missed. "I'm fine Setila, I have everything I need." Eva said as she grabbed Setila by her wrist when she tried running past again. "What I cant see is why your not coming with us," Eva continued. "Oh don't you worry about that, I'll be there in time for the wedding. i have to make a little detour to get your wedding present," Setila said with a mischievous grin. "Oh please tell me what it is!" Eva pleaded. "I cant, I'll see you later,"  Setila said as she kissed Eva on the top of her head and pushed her out the door to her waiting fiance. "Don't worry, I'll watch over you and send the sprites to help if you need it," Setila said as Eva and Adoni rode off. (To Be Continued...)

Story Time

Setila flew off in search of the prince and found him not far from their home, he had settled down and mad camp for the night. "Good evening good sir," Setila said as she entered the camp, "What brings you to this area of the forest?" she inquired. "I am merely passing through in search of a bride," replied the Prince, "You being a fairy, can you help me on my quest?" he asked. "I might be able to aide you, but first you absolutely must come over to my house for supper and a nights dwelling," she told him with a smile. the prince instantly agreed. he packed up his stuff and followed Setila to her home. Eva ran to the door when the got there to tell them that dinner was almost ready. The prince caught sight of her and fell in love instantly. "What is your name," he asked her. "My name is Eva, meaning life. What is yours?" she replied. "Mine is Adoni, meaning of the sunset." he said. "Well, you do indeed look like a sunset" she said as she led him to the sitting room to wait for supper, "with your golden red hair and your dark skin." They sat there and chatted for a bit until Setila called them to the dinning room for dinner. (To Be Continued...)

busy, busy holidays

Sorry i haven't gotten around to posting in a while, with the holidays around i have been busy as all get out. But its all worth it:) I actually get to spend a month without my parents in another state for thanksgiving and Christmas. i get to stay with my grandparents for over a month:) I'm hopping that during this time i get to do somethings that i don't normally do:) like cook dumplings (http://userealbutter.com/2007/10/04/chinese-dumplings-and-potstickers-recipe/) , and beat my grandpa at chess:) heres hoping :)

Story Time

When they got back to the cottage Setila sent Eva to get the broom and start sweeping the floors. Setila went to her room and grabbed the small magic crystal. "Magic Crystal in my hand please tell me who Eva saw in the woods this morning." The crystal started flashing a slide show of every creature and sprite that Eva saw on her walk. "Oh man, why does Eva see everything?" Setila grumbled as the long list flashed by. "Wait!" Setila yelled at the crystal. The crystal stopped on a chirping blue bird. "Go back a few," Setila told it. The crystal stopped on a picture of the prince. "So thats who put the spell on her," Setila said to herself, "Please show me where the boy is now." Setila told the crystal. The crystal was foggy for a few seconds before it cleared to show the prince again. The prince was still riding through the woods. "Do you think I'll ever meet the right girl?" the prince asked his horse. The horse just snorted and shook its head in replie. "Well if I dont find a wife soon I'll have to return home and marry Gackona," the prince said with a shudder, "I only have one month left!" The horse just flicked an ear in replie. The magic crystal clouded over again and then went clear. Setila heard a light sigh behind her, she turned around to see Eva standing in the door-way leaning against her broom staring dreamily at the crystal. "sigh, even his voice is cute." Eva said. "Well, maybe we should go invite him for supper," Setila said mischievously. "Oh! Could we?" Eva asked grinning from ear to ear. "Sure, why not," Setila said, "You go get on your best dress and start cooking and I'll go and invite him." Eva ran off to get ready as Setila grabbed her shawl and flew off to catch up with the prince. (To Be Continued...)

Happy (late) Halloween!

Happy (late) Halloween Everyone! Sorry I didn't post anything yesterday, being halloween and all it was perty buisy:) I ended up going to my little sister's class party(a room full of second graders can be really cute X) I was really suprised at how well behaved they were) We watched Charley Brown and the Great Pumpkin(I watch it every year:) its such a cute cartoon) and last night we only got 4 trick-or-treatrs so I got all the left-oversn :9 yum yum. Please coment, I want to know what everyone else did for halloween:)

Story Time

Eva grew up to be a beautiful young lady, her hair turned into cute redish-brown curls and her eyes became a smokey dark-green. She grew tall and was slim built. Most important, she grew up sweet and kind-hearted. Every morning she would walk through the woods and dance with the tiny pixis in a clearing in the forest. However; one morning during her walk she heard a clattering of horse hooves. "Thats strange," Eva thought, "The unicorns have migrated to the far valleys, I wonder what could be making that noise." She climbed a tree and and hid. The noise came closer and closer until the noise was directly under Eva's tree. Eva looked down and saw the head of a well dressed man on horse back. He was actualy a prince from a far kingdom in search of a bride. Eva stared at him in wonder as he passed under her, she had never seen another human before and this one was quite handsome, she fell in love with him immediately. Eva stayed up in the tree for a long time, day-dreaming and thinking about the prince. After awhile Setila came by looking for her. "What have you been doing child? The pixis expected you an hour ago." Setila scolded. "Hmm?" Eva said, still dreaming. "Come along," Setila said as she flew Eva out of the tree, "you have chores to do, and when we get back maybe I can figure out what put a spell on you." Eva just smiled dreamily and started humming a cute little song in reply. (To Be Continued...)

Story Time :)

Setila flew to her home only to find out that her house would be too small for a growing human child. "Well, I guess we`ll just have to make it bigger," she said as she set Eva down in a flower bed. While she was looking for her wand a little wood-land sprite came and hid the baby inside of a hollowed tree. After she finished making her house bigger she turned around to pick up the baby only to realize that she was gone. "Oh no!" cried Setila, "Where did she go?" Setila ran inside and grabbed her little crystal ball. "Crystal Ball, please show me where little Eva is." The little crystal showed a picture of Eva asleep in a tree. "Of coarse she`s in a tree in a forest of trees," grumbled Setila. She flew around every tree until she found the one that Eva was hidden in. "This is going to be harder than I thought," Setila said as she carried Eva into the house. Little did she know that little sprite tricks would be the least of her problems. (To Be Continued...)

Story Time

Once upon a time there was a baby girl born to a peasant couple. This girl was born with beautiful red curly hair and emerald green eyes. At about the same time the queen of the land also had a child, however, this child died soon after birth. The queen was so upset over the death of her child that she ordered that every new born child in the kindom be killed. When the peasant parents heard of this order they knew the had to send their child away. They called a fairy named Setila to come and take the child to the Land of the Fairys. "What is her name" Setila asked. The parents looked at each other for a moment, thinking of which name would best suit their daughter. "We will call her Eva, for she will live when all other children have died" they both agreed. Setila wrapped Eva up and flew away with her, the parents waving goodbye from their front door.
